Agronomists / Technical Officers
As an Agronomists and Technical Officer, you will provide specialized scientific expertise to optimize crop production and solve agricultural challenges. You will conduct soil analysis, develop fertilizer recommendations, monitor crop health, implement pest and disease management programs, and introduce new varieties and technologies. Your work involves field research, data collection and analysis, providing technical recommendations, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices. You will collaborate with research institutions and stay updated on latest agricultural innovations and best practices.
Qualification
- M.Sc./B.Sc. in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Pathology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in large-scale rice cultivation or research
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and crop management solutions
- Advise on soil fertility, pest control, and irrigation strategies
- Train extension officers and farmers
